Hotter’N Hell Hundred riders are the primary beneficiaries. Over the last 43 years, we have supported many civic projects and organizations by investing in programs that promote environmental quality, collegiate cycling, our heritage, and appreciation of our great outdoors.

AMERICAN RED CROSS

HHH donated materials to build a mobile food service trailer for disasters, provided matching funds to help purchase transport vans for handicapped persons and continues to give a significant annual contribution to the Wichita Falls Chapter.

BIKETEXAS

The mission of BikeTexas is to advance bicycle safety and education in Texas and steward the future of bicycling as a healthy and mainstream lifestyle and transportation choice. HHH believes in their mission and is a major supporters of BikeTexas activities.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

Volunteers from the BSA Order of The Arrow provide water for the rest stops at the annual HHH Endurance Ride. HHH provides significant annual support for their activities and the BSA Camp Perkins.

United Regional Foundation / CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK

Since 2007, HHH has donated over $175,000 to the United Regional Foundation/Children’s Miracle Network.

CLAY COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

HHH purchases radio equipment and provides funding to repair the storm warning systems that connect with the National Weather Service

GREATER WICHITA FALLS SOCCER ASSOCIATION

HHH provided funding for the field lights and bleachers for the GWFSA fields at the Memorial Stadium complex.

THE “FALLS”

The “Falls” on the Wichita River were rebuilt to reclaim the namesake of the City. The original falls were destroyed in a flood during the late 1800’s. HHH was the largest community contributor to this project. The “Falls” are now a focal point of tourism for our community.

MSU CYCLING SCULPTURE

The HHH Steering Committee commissioned the building of two larger-than-life sized cyclists and donated the sculpture as the centerpiece for the MSU Bicycle Racing Team’s Ring of Honor that commemorates racers who have won national championships.

MSU CYCLING TEAM

Midwestern State University is one of only 3 universities in the USA that provides cycling scholarships. HHH has made it possible for MSU to compete and win against the largest universities in the nation. From scholarships, training, uniforms, competition expenses and the cycling coach, HHH has been a catalyst for success.

RIVER BEND NATURE CENTER

HHH has provided this nonprofit environment conservatory with support for land purchase, volunteers and equipment. River Bend’s mission is to connect people to the natural environment of Texas. Through educational activities and events, River Bend Nature Center promotes the value of environmental awareness and conservation to students, families, and their communities.

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE

Sheppard Air Force Base annually provides a large group of volunteers that make the HHH weekend possible. HHH is the Squadron Sponsor for the Sea Bees contingent at SAFB.

THE STEERING COMMITTEE

The Steering Committee donates many HHH items to community organizations for charity auctions, raffles and other fundraisers and assist other nonprofit rides and runs with event numbers, wrist bands and T-shirts.

STREAMS & VALLEYS

Wichita Falls Streams & Valleys is a local parks and trails organization. The HHH has assisted Streams & Valleys and green space projects with funding for developing trails, Natural Adventures, Adventure Racing, the BMX track and land purchases by providing equipment and volunteers.

WEE-CHI-TAH SCULPTURE

The Wee-Chi-Tah Sculpture commemorates the Native American cultures that first inhabited our area. HHH was the largest community contributor to this significant social art and historic project. The sculpture was on the cover of the 2005 SBC telephone directory.

WICHITA COUNTY 4H

HHH provides donations for various projects.

WICHITA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS

The local VFD’s provide support in the form of SAG wagons and Rest Stop hosting. Our partners include: Wichita East VFD, Wichita West VFD, Burkburnett FD, Cameron Gardens VFD, Friburg – Cooper VFD, Iowa Park FD, & Punkin Center VFD.

WICHITA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

HHH has purchased radios, bulletproof vests and hostage shields.

WICHITA FALLS PARKS AND RECREATION

HHH provided $36,000 for development of the Falls and trails from the Falls to Lucy Park and is one of the largest contributors to the multi-use Wichita Circle Trail project in Wichita Falls.

WICHITA FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT CRIME STOPPERS

HHH provided computers that help these crime fighters track their projects and catch criminals.

WICHITA FALLS URBAN RENEWAL

In 1996, the Wichita Falls Bicycling Club purchased two buildings on Scott St. which is where the annual HHH Endurance Ride starts.

YMCA of WICHITA FALLS

HHH, for a number of years, provided annual donations supporting Partners With Youth, the Soap Box Derby, and the Y-Tri.
